Callaway Golf Pitch
I did a Callaway Golf pitch this April for Goodby Silverstein and Partners. The Callaway account was up for review, and several agencies were asked to pitch, to create a new look and style for the venerable golf company. I set out very early on a Saturday with a fancy new FTI driver and iron to create some interest in the staid world of 'golf photography'-which seems to primarily consist of either horrible 'training video' shots or bad photoshoppy car photography knockoffs. Goodby didn't win the pitch - from what I can gather, Callaway decided to retreat to the safety of exactly what they had been doing. While the
account may not have fallen to Goodby (and to me) I did get to work with some good people at Goodby, and created a nice golf mini-folio.
